I am so “THANKFUL” to see another year. I cannot complain about anything in my life. I am happy to have a Spiritual Foundation, Family, “Real Friends”, Fashion Family, and connection with numerous business associates.

I am happy that I was able to continue to produce all 13 of my publications, (on TIME) my fashion tv show, create collections, do fashion week shows, work with my team on the Netflix Movie, throughout the pandemic. There are so many businesses where it was just too hard to continue, not due to anything they did wrong, just the financial environment. We, the Fashion Avenue News Empire – are still standing.

As we continue to expand, we have the pleasure to announce we are opening a Press Pull Showroom at 295 Madison Avenue. This will be a place that Press, Media, Stylists, Celebrities, Magazine Editors, Models, Photographers, Magazines, etc., can come to view garments for Red Carpets, Shoots, TV Shows, Editorials, Magazine Covers, Round Ups and more. We will not only have our luxury brands, The House of Sofia Couture, Body Goddess Collection, Bling Darling Couture and Statement Couture Jewelry, we will also feature other high end fashion and accessory brands. We will restart our bi-monthly Fashion Open House. This is an opportunity for anyone in the fashion business to make an appointment, come in and discuss their fashion careers, see how they can appear on our Covers and Editorials, also how they can be part of one of our 13 publications. We will be interviewing for the following positions; Editor in Chief, Fashion Directors, Fashion Reporters, TV Host, Photographers, and Casting Assistants. These are all volunteer positions, where you can gain experience and go on to create your own. Photographers – If you are interested in having a publishing home, make an appointment to stop by and meet with us.

One of our big achievements this year has been the connection with Disrupt Modeling Agency, owned by former SuperModel Nina Nesbitt. This agency brings fresh, new faces, and styles. Nina can provide Industry Size models for many fashion events. We are also an Advisory Board Member for Women in the Black, headed by the Queen of Harlem, Princess Jenkins.

We are happy to continue our Partnership with Celebrity Stylists and former SuperModel Wendy “Boss Lady” Isaac. She has been a strong force in the our growth and development in the Caribbean. As the Editor-in-Chief, she has leveled the FAN Caribbean publication “All The Way Up”, with monthly fashion editorials, styling, new designers and her fabulous “Style Wednesday” TV Show. We are PROUD to have her as part of our Fashion Family team.

I’m overjoyed that Celebrity Photographer Paul A. Walker continues to do fabulous work and submit, not just to Fashion Avenue News, but numerous publication getting covers and editorial coverage for Models, Designers and Stylists. He flew out to LA to cover the many shows on the West Coast and give them immediate coverage thru our Daily Fashion Blog.

We want to say a big Thank You to Atlantic City Fashion Week for being the first company to invite The House of Sofia Couture to show our collection at their Fashion Week event. Don’t miss it – February 2022, it will be an entire week from February 7 – 12th. The event consist of fashion for Kids, Tweens, RTW and Couture. I want to thank all the photographers, stylists, etc., that have submitted to our publications.

We are also scheduling a Zoom Fashion Reporter Workshop. This will inform people of our experiences in starting and running a magazine. How to start a magazine and KEEP IT GOING.
