It is an icy cold Friday night and all I want to do is go home and slide into a warm bed with a hot cup of coffee, but that won’t happen tonight because, Kereem Vargas aka The Sexiest Man Alive 2017, Mr. United States, is having his first fashion show and auction….. I have to be there. I mean really, who can say No to the Sexiest Man Alive!!!!
I grab my Bling Darling sunglasses and head out into the frigid night.
Upon arrival, I’m greeted by the Royal Fashion Family, Prince Paul Walker meets me at the elevator and guides me to my seat. The place is just getting warmed up.
The location is quaint, with a Yamaha baby grand piano for anyone wanting to lick the ivory.
As more fabulous Royals arrive, I’m happy to see Fashion Queen D’Mochelle, looking amazing and wearing Bling sunglasses, NYC Shoot A Thon King and Queen Mr. Don and Jackie, Royal Power Couple Steve and Ivy, King of Accessories and Style Phil Harris, Lady Nanette Rhodesia Swain along with Fashion Oscar winning Designer Prashant Goyal. There are loads of Press/Media. Now that the Royals have arrived, the show can commence.
Gracing the runway are all of the fabulous Supermodels, I am always happy to see Celebrity SuperModel and FAN Brand Ambassador, GIO (no last name needed) and of course Kereem Vargas, Mr. United States, opens the show. This segment is the Ready To Wear line and is very functional. It appears to be drapeable, breathable and washable. Each model looks great and gives the audience a good look at the garments.
After the RTW line, they have an auction, attendees can bid on antique Halston dresses and lots of other fabulous stuff. This show is a fund raiser for a great cause, with the proceeds benefiting Mr. United States Community platform, creating positive leadership, educational and fitness programs for today’s youth.
The evening wear segments get underway, with more fabulous garments and models giving us style. I especially like the skirt like drapery the men wore, what a good look. This is a beautiful collection, garments are fluid and floaty.
The show ends on a top note with the finale of all models, Kereem Vargas and Designer Sandro Giuliani.
Kereem is gracious, and comes out to take photos with the Royal Fashion Family, after all he, too, is Royal. Great show! Keep up the good work.
