His talents as a wig maker brought him to America from Australia on a working visa and he is now an American citizen. After ﬁnishing a four-year apprenticeship learning the Vidal Sassoon method, under Australia’s leading stylist Oscar Cullinan, Sean was encouraged to explore the world. During his ﬁrst week in the U.S., he worked on the South African short ﬁlm, “Look What We’ve Done,” which was later nominated for an Oscar. Sean’s destiny was clearly off to the right start!
Two years in London catapulted Sean’s insights into the fashion world, which prompted him to return to Los Angeles; where he worked at the Fred Segal Salon in Santa Monica, one of the premiere salons in Los Angeles at that time. Sean brought celebrity recognition and personality to the brand, and ended up being lead educator at the FRED Segal academy!
Sean went on to become an educator and color specialist at the Los Angeles Flagship store for L’Oréall, training young stylists and inspiring them to go above and beyond in their line of work.
Sean has worked with several A-list stars, from the Kardashians and Paris Hilton to Brad Pitt and Ellen DeGeneres! Other satisfied clients include Jamie Lee Curtis, Jennifer Love, Weird Al and twins Dylan and Cole Sprouse. He also works for musicians and performers, having styled Courtney Love in her prime and Dita von Teese in Paris. Ooh la la…
He also does styling for TV shows, working with Chris Hardwick on @Midnight on Comedy Central, along with Chris Hardwick’s other shows for “Talking Dead” “Talking Bad ” Talking Saul”, “Fear of the walking dead”, “Talking Preacher” all on AMC and works with the cast and creators of “Breaking Bad” and most recently “Fear of the Walking Dead” cast.
Sean is now working on a new show called “THE WALL” and another show called “The Awesome Show” which will be airing soon.
